If you are thinking of taking time to study abroad while discerning God's plan for your life, perhaps you would like to consider St Patrick's School of Evangelisation in London's West End. The School of Evangelisation (SPES) is a nine month formation course forming young adults in the Catholic faith. As well as an in-depth study of the Catechism, the school organises outreach in the streets and work with the homeless, all whilst living out a daily prayer life living together in a community. SPES is a full-time, residential program for young adults between the ages of 20-30. Every Autumn (September), a new group of young people come to London from all over the world and give a year of their life to God to pray, serve and discern their vocations. Nine months later, the same group of people graduate with more than they expected! Upon completion of this program, the students receive a a Certificate in Adult Studies in the Catechism of the Catholic Church from the Maryvale institute in Birmingham.
