God, What Now?

Every year in August, the Church in Australia celebrates National Vocations Awareness Week (NVAW). This is a specific opportunity for parishes, schools and different groups to pray for the renewal and strengthening of vocations of dedicated people as married and single people, women as religious sisters and men to serve as priests, deacons or bothers. The dates of NVAW for this year is 1-8 August, 2010. In this article, we will explore the nature of vocations and how we discern our vocation.

National Vocations Awareness Week 2010
National Vocations Awareness Week will this year take place from the 8-15th of August. A kit of resources has been mailed out to all parishes and Catholic schools in the Archdiocese, which includes our new poster featuring the seminarians of Corpus Christi College. All NVAW resources are available to download here.
 
Corpus Christi Procession
Despite the cold and wet weather, the Melbourne Seminary's Corpus Christi procession was a great success, with over 500 people joining the walk down Lygon St. Click here to view photos.
